Love Story ????

"Hello"

"Hi Brother, what are you doing?"

"Nothing much, just came back from office and making coffee."

"Ok. Good. And don’t think much. You will be just fine."

"Yes sister. I hope all gets back to normal. I hope at least you are not angry on me."

"Shut up."

“I have hurt everyone"

"It’s nothing like that bro. everybody will become normal soon. You just take care of yourself. I will call you again in the morning and if you feel lonely call me. I am here. Ok?”

"Sis, can I have a hug please?"

"Hmm, I am with you. Don’t worry. Ok."

After the call Naman feels little better, feels he is not alone and someone still cares about him. He prepared his coffee, switches on the television and starts listening to songs on one of those music channels.

With every sip of the coffee, Naman was getting lost in the past and he realizes how quickly things have changed.

Naman’s mind rolls back to the day when he had joined this company. He was very happy and he had every reason to be. After all, he got placed in one of the IT giants in India. Everyone in the family were happy. Naman’s dad was very proud of his son that day.  Naman’s mom was very happy and little sad because her son was going to stay away from her because of his job, still she was happy that her son made it to the top.

On the other hand, Naman was little down as he had to leave his hometown, his friends, his family and also that someone special in his life, Sneha. He won’t be able to meet her, will not be able see her smiling face. He knew she is also happy for him. And as they say “Distance does not matter, if two hearts are loyal to each other”. They had not talked about this relation in their families. Sneha and Naman was in love for last one year and were happy in it.

On that day, when Naman was to leave the city, he and Sneha met and had a lunch together. They spent a lot of quality time together. Sneha gifted him a idol of Lord Ganpati for good luck which Naman still keeps on his work desk. Sneha was showing brave side of her until Naman said “I think we should leave now as in couple of hours I have my train”. Sneha had tears in her eyes with it but she wished him luck and both of them left.

After Naman moved to the new city, he was constantly in touch with Sneha. Both of them shared everything with each other and things were going really nice. They shared everything-the good, the bad & the ugly as well. For Naman, Sneha was the world, if Sneha does not call before going to sleep, he used to get upset. He always said “If I don’t hear your voice the day does not end and it does not start without your text”. And that was true also. First thing he will do in the morning is pick up his cell phone and check the messages from her and if there isn’t any he would send one and wait for her reply. Sneha knew this very well and she was very happy of the fact that Naman loved her so much. Whenever she said I love you to Naman, the reply was “Not as much as I love you” and Sneha loved those words so much.

Everything was going nicely and the world seemed perfect.

Relations - The art and the part of life.

“Wake up, you idiot....it’s already 8”

“Please swati didi 10 more mins”

“Aman, you will miss your college bus”

“No problem, I will take your scooty”

“No ways” said Swati.

This was the usual morning for this brother and sister.

Both of them had a very good bonding. But like most of siblings do....they keep on fighting and they dont even need a topic for that.

“ok Aman. Its 8.30 now and you are on your own. I am leaving for office. “

As soon as swati leaves aman wakes up.

“Hello, Rohan”

“she has left, lets begin phase 2 of our plan”

“Aman, are you sure you want to do this? “

“yes I am sure”

“But what if she will catch us doing this?”

“Don’t worry she won’t.”

In the evening when Swati returns home. She looks for her brother in the house but she does not find him.

She tries to call him on his mobile but it was switched off.

“Ok”, “Idiot must have missed his bus back as well. He should be here in a while.”

Swati and Aman used to live alone as their parents had passed away last year in a road accident. Since then Swati had taken up the responsibility of her kid brother as well as the house.

It was 11 in the night and Aman was still not home.

Swati was really worried now and she had already called all the relatives and friends but was of no use. No one knew anything about Aman .

Finally, she decided to go to police station. She was locking the door when she saw Aman entering the house with the naughty look on the face and said “where are you going?”

Swati just throws her bag at him.
“Where were you? I was so afraid.”

Aman starts smiling....

Swati slaps him. “what are you smiling at?” and she bursts into tears and hugs him.

“Sorry didi, I was unable to call you.”

“But where were you.....”

Aman says “Look who is there…...”

It was Anil. Swati’s to be husband.

Anil and Swati were college friends, they knew each other for last 4 years now. Anil proposed to Swati on the last day of the college which Swati happily accepted. The two families had no issues as both of them were very happy with it. Anil stood by Swati when her parents died in road accident. But lately Anil was feeling like ignored as Swati had set all her attention towards Aman. They had a big fight over this and as a result Swati had refused for marriage until Aman's studies gets over which was unacceptable for Anil’s family.

Rohan, Aman's friend, said “Didi, me and Aman had gone to Anil's house and had discussion with him and his parents over the issues and they have agreed to wait till Aman's studies gets over.”

"Didi, I know you don't show it but you miss him very much. Please don't let him go because of me." said Aman with tears. “If you are not happy, how will I be happy?”

Swati had no word. She was just standing still.

“Your kid brother is no more a kid, Swati” said Anil.

Moral of the story, every relation has its own place, don't overlap them.

Moments...called LIFE...!!!

"Can I have a cup of tea please?" said Amritlal seating on his chair on a pleasant Monday evening.

"How many cups are due for today?" said a loud voice from the kitchen. It was Sarda, Amritlal's wife.

"This is the last one :)" said Amritlal.

Sarda appeared with a cup of tea in few minutes with a smile on her face as she handed over the cup to him and went back to the kitchen.

Just when Amritlal was about to have the tea, the phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR PAPA HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU."

It was his daughter, Reema, who called to wish him on his 65th birthday.

After the call Amritlal got settled back with his tea and got lost in the thoughts of past.

How the time had flown away....it looked like it was just yesterday when he got married to Sarda, and started the journey called life. Initially the life was struggle as Amritlal was the only earning member of the big family including 4 sisters. But they managed things quite well.

They got blessed with three children, Reema, Roshan and Vivek. All three have settled down in their respective fields quite well and moved out of the home town. Reema after marriage and Roshan & Vivek due to their jobs.

Amritlal and Sarda was spending reteired life in the home town now.

Every year Amritlal's birthday was celebrated like a festival by his kids. But this year was different. He and his wife were alone as all the kids were busy with their work and none of them had turned up.

And it was hurting Amritlal. While it was understandable they were unable to turn up for the day, but none his son even bothered to wish him.

He was just about to cry when...
